Privacy Policy

Pollapse collects a series of data from visitors that they voluntarily provide. Registered members can view the breadth of what we collect by viewing the main section of their profiles. A toggle is provided to allow members to see how the world will see their data once it is anonymized. For security and legal reasons, we do not store payment details provided by brand members; instead, they are transmitted with encryption and tokenized by a payment gateway.

We use cookies on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site. Some of our business partners may use cookies on our site--for example, advertisers)--however, we have no access to or control over such cookies.

This website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage visitors to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

Members reserve the right to change their votes on polls where voting has not closed. When a member voluntarily closes an account, is suspended, or has his/her account terminated , any votes cast remain in our system, but they reserve the option to delete any polls they have authored, which will consequently delete all associated votes.

One of the perks of brand-tier accounts is that brands are able to view anonymized statistics and activity histories of visitors who engage with their ads. They also have access to less-specific statistics for guests. Outside of advertising, all parties essentially see the same data. Registered members are always in control of how much personal information they share.

We implement measures to ensure that visitor data is accessed and stored securely. Due to the prevalence of social-engineering attacks, compromised accounts can only be recovered using our automated system.

Because we operate in the United States and are ultimately governed by their laws, for compliance, we would only release personal data of individual members based in the United States when compelled by court orders.

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time without notice. If any detail in this policy seems unclear, please feel free to use our contact form to help us improve it.
